Business Development Representative

New Cairo, Egypt
Intro

Who we are

MOAR IT is an IT services company based in New Cairo, working with francophone clients across France and MENA. We design and operate infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software solutions for organizations that rely on us to keep things running reliably, securely, and on time.

We're a team of 6 to 15 people. The atmosphere is structured but dynamic : things move fast, priorities shift, and everyone is expected to take ownership of their work.

Why this role exists

We're building a dedicated outbound prospecting team to generate qualified leads for our products and services. We need people who speak French naturally, who can hold a business conversation on the phone, and who aren't afraid of cold outreach. You won't be selling. You'll be the first voice that opens the door and that matters.

This role comes with a real script, a real trainer, and a real structure. It's not a typical call center job.

A day in the life

Monday morning, you open your prospect list for the week. Your trainer has pre-qualified the targets, your job is to reach them, introduce MOAR IT, and find out if there's a conversation worth having. You make your first calls before 10am while decision-makers are reachable.

Tuesday, you follow up on three contacts who asked you to call back. One picks up, listens, and agrees to receive more information. You log it as a warm lead and send the follow-up email within the hour. It's a small win and small wins add up fast.

Wednesday, Your trainer sits with you for 30 minutes. You go over what's working, what's not, and he helps you refine your approach for one specific objection you've been hitting.
No pressure, this is how you get better.

Thursday and Friday, you work through new batches, update your tracking sheet, and prepare a short summary of the week : calls made, contacts reached, leads generated, patterns noticed. You're not just making calls, you're building a system.

Responsibilities

Cold Calling

  • Execute outbound call campaigns on pre-qualified francophone prospect lists
  • Follow the MOAR IT call script and adapt tone to each interlocutor
  • Handle objections calmly and professionally
  • Identify and qualify decision-makers
  • Transfer warm leads to the commercial team with a clear handover note

Cold Emailing & Follow-up

  • Send structured follow-up emails to prospects who showed initial interest
  • Personalize outreach based on the phone conversation
  • Track open rates and replies in the shared CRM
  • Re-engage cold contacts at defined intervals

Reporting & Improvement

  • Log every interaction in the tracking tool (calls, outcomes, objections)
  • Participate in weekly debriefs
  • Flag recurring objections or script gaps
  • Contribute to refining the prospecting approach over time
Must Have

What we need

  • French fluency - spoken and written, C1 minimum, C2 preferred
  • Clear, natural pronunciation - you'll be representing MOAR IT to French clients
  • Composure under rejection - cold calling means hearing "no" often, you bounce back
  • Organized and reliable - you track your calls, you follow up, you don't drop the ball
  • On-site in Cairo

What makes you stand out

  • Prior experience in outbound calling, telemarketing, or customer service in French
  • Familiarity with B2B sales concepts (lead generation, pipeline, qualification)
  • Experience working for a French or international employer
  • Comfortable with digital tools and CRM-style software
  • Genuine curiosity about technology , MSP and cybersecurity topics
What you get

A role that's built differently from the typical call center job in Cairo. You'll have a script that was designed for real B2B conversations, a trainer who is actually available, and a manager who gives feedback - not just quotas.

You'll work on a mission that has real impact : every qualified lead you generate contributes directly to the growth of a tech company building products in cybersecurity.
That's a different kind of conversation to have on a CV than "I processed 200 calls a day."

The structure is small enough that your contribution is visible. If you perform, it shows and it gets recognized.

Compensation is structured as a base salary plus transport, in line with Egyptian labour norms. A performance bonus is paid on qualified leads confirmed by the commercial team. This is built in from day one, not something you have to earn the right to ask for.

The role also opens onto future responsibilities : customer support for clients, coordination with partner agencies, or a broader commercial role as the team grows.

How we hire

We keep it simple and honest.

We read every application and respond within 5 business days.

A short call in French to assess language level and motivation. No trick questions.

With our trainer or a member of the team. We'll ask you about your experience, how you handle rejection, and we'll do a short role-play, you call us, we play the prospect.

Focused on values, fit and expectations.

We move fast. No ghosting

We're not looking for the perfect CV. We're looking for the right person, someone who speaks French well, picks up the phone without hesitation, and wants to build something with us !
